Farm to Fork

Gourmet Island’s frozen burgers are produced by integrated suppliers using beef from Irish and British farms. By being fully integrated it means that the livestock is slaughtered, processed and
packed by the same supplier enabling 100% traceability back to
the farm animal. This Farm to Fork approach guarantees that
nothing other than beef enters the supply chain.

Irish beef is a product of the unique Irish landscape where good
drainage and abundant rainfall provide wonderful grass for
the livestock. Such perfect grazing conditions afforded by the
longest grass-growing season in Europe give the meat a rich
burgundy colour.

Our Gourmet Burgers are product leaders and the top choice of premium for many different industries. Our gourmet range is at the high end of the market as we offer the highest quality at either 99 or 95% beef. All of our burgers are minced in-house for the perfect balance of lean to fat.

Saying this, we know that our customers may have very specific requirements not met by our existing range. This is why we have a dedicated in-house team who will design a product to our customer’s exacting requirements.
